Step 1
Log in to your WordPress environment.
Click on PAGE or MESSAGE in the menu. Go to the desired page or message.
Scroll down to below the text box.
You'll see a box there with WordPress SEO by Yoast as the title.
Step 2
Enter a FOCUS SEARCH TERM, which is the search term you want to be found on.
Create a catchy SEO TITLE and in it put the FOCUS SEARCH TERM at the front of the title as much as possible.
Do the same for the META DESCRIPTION. Stick to the maximum number of characters. You can edit the meta description by clicking: "Edit Snippet".
ALWAYS KEEP YOUR SEARCH TERM IN MIND. Place your search term at the front of your titles and descriptions as much as possible.
Click UPDATE or PUBLIC.
Step 3
Scroll down. Here you will see the Analysis. Keep this handy while optimizing and make sure all the bullets turn green for the best search engine optimization.
